           On Earth as it is in Heaven
                    The atmosphere of Glory!
                                                Music is divine; indeed, the
Father of Spirits loves and inspired it! Music has a mystical
essence to it; in actual fact, its root word “muse” connotes a
source of inspiration as the guiding genius. Mythology claimed
that there were nine goddesses presiding over song and poetry.
So what is this spiritual essence that we know as music and how does it’s
spiritual qualities relate to us today? Didn’t satan the devil lead worship
services in heaven? Therefore, doesn’t music have a negative
connotation in the spritural realm?
Getting into the Proper Perspective!
Without viewing anything in the proper perspective you can easily get lost. Let’s
get the proper perspective through a story before we start this Bible Study: Two
angels at creation were marveling at the wonderful things that were being created
through God’s creative speaking power! The angels marveled as Job 38:7
teaches, “the morning stars sang together , and all the sons of God shouted for
joy ! ” Back-to-story , one of the angels turned to the other and said, “I am having
a hard time with this physical creation thing!” The other angel asked, “So what
is the problem?” The first angel said, “How can something you actually touch
and see be real?”
We are eternal cosmic beings experiencing merely a temporary physical human
existence! We must learn to perceive the real, spiritual things!
Our goal tonight is to see past this physical realm and look into the Spiritual World, we will
explore a passage into the heavenly realm that is provided through the pattern for praise
and worship. Let’s start by reading portions of Isaiah chapter six! We must realize that
there are things on this earth that have been patterned, as they exist in the heavenlies, “And
the
testament” (Rev 11:19)! Moses was told to fashion the tabernacle menorah and other
implements as he had seen in his heavenly vision, “And this work of the candlestick was of
beaten gold, unto the shaft thereof, unto the flowers thereof, was beaten work: according
unto the pattern which the LORD had shewed Moses, so he made the candlestick” (Num
8:4).
Beyond implements, the prophet Isaiah had a chance to experience a pattern of heavenly
worship, “I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled
the temple. 2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered
his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. 3 And one cried
unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his
glory” (Isa 6:1-3). The last part of the passage verse three is written in the Hebrew
imperative tense or better known as the mandate tense. It could be called the “must be”
tense! It reads more closely to the original Hebrew as, “and one creature cried with intense
passion before the face of another creature, crying, Holy, holy, holy, the LORD of hosts:
the whole earth must be made to be filled with his glory . ” This was spoken with such
passionate and intense focus and heartfelt ness that structural damage to the building
actually took place! Notice verse four, Isa 6:4 “And the posts of the door moved at the
voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke (a type of the glory of god) .”
We discover that the angels were marveling at the things that they were seeing as they
circled around the throne of God. Get the picture of these angels, they were witnessing
entirely new things from their current perspectives; they continually saw incredible things
of God that they had never before observed! More on this concept a little later . . .
Then Isaiah realized something awesome! He had just witnessed the power of the pattern
of worship which takes place around the Heavenly Throne! He immediately recognized
that this was so far beyond the worship that takes place on the earth. Isaiah continued Isa
6:5 “Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I
dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: (It is impossible for we humans to speak of
the Glory of God!) for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.” Next notice a
shadow of the ministry of Jesus in the sixth chapter of Isaiah “ 6 Then flew one of the
seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from
off the altar (By the way, the angel took the coal using tongs because he was not allowed to
handle the fire of God with his hands as it applies to the Sons of God!) : 7 And he laid it
upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away
(notice that this is a type of the cleansing ministry that Jesus would perform for mankind!) ,
and thy sin purged . 8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord , saying, (Please realize at this
point that once sin is dealt with, the voice of the Lord returns to a human!) Whom shall I
send, and who will go for us (“ us ” is the Triad God – Father, Son and Holy Ghost) ? Then
said I, Here am I; send me” (Isa 6:6-8)! We have all heard this verse generally used with
regard to missions and serving God; however, Isaiah is actually telling God in the Hebrew
language something much greater! He says, “ I will be your birth canal; I will be your
conduit between heaven and earth!” He had in a very literal sense, experienced this
awesome heavenly worship; and, he wanted to bear witness of it on the earth! He had seen
something awesome in the heavens – “ On Earth as it is in Heaven !” He told God, “Flow
through me Lord. Let me be anointed to bear witness what I saw in Heaven.”
Say to each other three times, “Holy, Holy, Holy is the LORD God, Almighty!”
“And one cried unto another (notice that these angels are not crying to the Lord; rather
they are crying to each other) , and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole
earth is full of his glory” (Isa 6:1-3). These angels have been creating a glorious
atmosphere as they cry aloud to one another about the character and awesome facets of
God that they are witnessing! They have been doing this since their creation! They are
still there; creating a spiritual crossfire! They are crying to each other, “You wait until you
get over here to see what I have just seen.” The other answered, “That is nothing! You
wait until you get over here had see what I have just witnessed. It is awesome beyond
words!” There are millions of these angels performing this Glory-producing activity!
Why did God create the heavenly hosts? God created the angels so that they would fashion
an atmosphere of glory between their faces. Now get this point, “Glory” is the atmosphere
of the spiritual realm as “air” is the atmosphere of the earthly realm. God has His own
onboard Glory but He wanted a Glorious Spiritual atmosphere for Him to step into. God
stepped into that atmosphere of glory where He was about to initiate creation! As the
“WORD” stepped into that Glorious atmosphere, the Holy Spirit was fluttering (brooding
as the KJV puts it in Gen 1:2) over the deep anticipating the next move. The “WORD”
then spoke, “Let there be!” The Holy Spirit took those expressions from the “WORD” and
created hard copy!
When we open our mouths to praise and worship God we are creating more than just vocal
sounds! When we say “Hallelujah” we are saying more than just the syllables which mean
“Praise the Lord!” That specific word “Hallelujah” comes from two Hebew words “Hallel”
– meaning on the surface to command praise of the Most High God; however, below the
surface there are and about 13 other little variances in sub-meaning, such as “complete and
utter light exploding in the face of complete and utter darkness!” Those meanings in
Hebrew, added to the word “Jah” is God’s name “I am that I am!” So when you say,
“Hallelujah” you are literally saying, “Light be! And darkness flee!” God is the one that
started this whole concept of words containing power! “Hallelujah!” Is actually a message
of confession filled with faith in an atmosphere of GLORY! Any atmosphere worth
stepping into must be charged with the presence of God ! When we worship and praise
God we are creating an atmosphere of glorious substance! Just as air is the atmosphere in
our earthly realm, glory is the tangible atmosphere in the heavenly spiritual realm! “How
can something you touch and see be real?” As the angel said . Do we really get it?
Notice that your breath “that which came from God and was given to Adam” is the
atmosphere of this earth! Breath and the Holy Spirit are complementary concepts in the
eyes of God!
When we Praise the LORD that means that we witness that we are aware of what God has
actually performed! Notice
that
• The rider was cast into the sea;
•
• We did eat Manna from heaven;
• We were led by the Pillar of fire by night and the Cloud by day.
When we praise the LORD; it means that we have experienced and are more aware of the
quality of his Love! “For God so loved the world that he gave!” That quality of love needs
to be worshipped and praised! As we become more aware of this truth we begin to worship
God!
Next, when we get into the Glory of God, we become aware of his Holiness! This should
begin to shed some light on the concept brought out by the psalmist, “But thou art holy , O
thou that inhabitest (lives within) the praises of
and walks upon) the “ Holy, Holy, Holy ” of his people! The very power of God is manifest
within our praises of HIM! Praise is the doorway ! Do you get it; God’s power actually
shows up right on the scene when we praise Him!
As we collectively praise the LORD, a powerful spiritual atmospheric spirit of worship will
build up and finally manifest itself. Then, as we begin to yield ourselves to the spirit of
worship, the Glory of God shows up! At that point we just let God be God! Whenever
God shows-up He speaks to us and gives us revelation! Whenever you are wondering what
you should be doing regarding anything simply go to God and praise Him, He will
ultimately show-up and give you inspiration ( God’s breath ) and revelation! As God works
in us all we need to do is become pliable to the Holy Spirit or the breath that God give to
us!
Have you ever
wondered about that deep hole left by the
about 6 to 8 stories deep; it is called the tub. Have you realized yet that the foundation of
those massive buildings was not disturbed! The builders of the WTC took almost as much
time going below the surface of the buildings as they did going above the surface. God
likewise works in you as he builds you up! He will spend a lot of time building your
spiritual foundation through experience and resulting character, before you begin to see the
structure of your spiritual life rise above surface. Jesus Christ took thirty years in
development His three and one-half year ministry! It is worth waiting to eat the cake even
though when you begin to smell it, while in the oven, you get desirous of its manifestation!
Spiritual things in our individual lives never pass us by, they will just get more ripe for the
picking and their eventual harvest.
We need to become acquainted with the spiritual world in order to see into that invisible
realm! We can look at something with our eyes; yet we should become acquainted with
seeing something beyond the mere obviously physical! As we become familiar with the
spiritual we will begin to see the realm that lurks behind the physical. God has at times
removed the veil between the physical and the spiritual realms, “And he answered, Fear
not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. And Elisha prayed, and
said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes
of the young man ; and he saw : and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots
of fire round about Elisha” (2 Kings 6:16-17). That spiritual realm is actually more real
than anything in our physical realm. Elisha’s eyes had been opened to see the spiritual
realm! He got this vision through receiving the mantle of Elijah! Elijah told Elisha, that if
he would see the spiritual realm , then he would be able to have his desire! Let’s follow
the story, “And Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped it together, and smote the waters, and
they were divided hither and thither, so that they two went over on dry ground. And it came
to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for
thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of
thy spirit be upon me. And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see
me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee ; but if not, it shall not be so. And
it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of
fire, and horses of fire , and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind
into heaven. And Elisha saw it , and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of
and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes,
and rent them (Notice that Elisha got rid of and even destroyed his own clothes! What does
that represent to you?) in two pieces. He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from
him, and went back, and
stood by the bank of
fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is the LORD God of Elijah? and
when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over.
And when the
sons of the prophets which were to view at
spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to
the ground before him” (2 Kings 2:7-15). Let’s make some distinctions here. Elisha
actually saw the spiritual horses and the chariot of God! The point is that we can never get
the mantle until we see beyond the physical! And, we are seeking after that mantle! What
we actually want is that anointing of God , “And the LORD spake unto Aaron, Behold, I
also have given thee the charge of mine heave offerings of all the hallowed things of the
children of
sons, by an ordinance for ever” (Num 18:8). The anointing is “the tangible manifestation
of the presence of God!” Say it out loud, “The anointing is the tangible manifestation of
the presence of God!” We must never forget this! This world is expressed only through
faith, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen ”
(Heb 11:1). We humans like the angels actually create a magnificent spiritual atmosphere
called “Glory” through our praise! Remember that (Isa 6:3) is written in the Hebrew
imperative tense or the “must be” tense and should be rendered as “and one creature cried
with intense passion before the face of another creature, crying, Holy, holy, holy, the
LORD of hosts: the whole earth must be made to be filled with his glory . ”
When we physically enter into worship services, the Holy Spirit leads us to pray and lay
hold of spiritual things as the place begins to be filled with God’s glory. We do not just go
into worship services and lay hold of spiritual understanding and His promises until we
have been singing and filling the place with the Glory of God!
You may or may not know that every Hebrew and Greek letter is also a numeral. What you
probably do not realize is that both the Hebrew and Greek languages exhibit numerical
coefficient linkages between words that share similar ideas and concepts. For example the
Hebrew words “voice” and “ladder” both share a common numerical value. Whenever
numbers share a numerical value then those two words are related in some fashion! Take
the passage regarding Jacob’s ladder, “behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it
reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it” (Gen
28:12). The Hebrew word for “ladder” is “sulam” and it has a numerical value of 136.
Likewise, let’s take the passage, “they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the
garden in the cool of the day” (Gen 3:8). The Hebrew word for “voice” is “qowl” and it
has a numerical value of 136. Therefore these two Hebrew words translated into the
English words “voice” and “ladder” are connected to one another. From this we learn that
God is absolutely and mathematically perfect! Simply because they produce the same
numerical value they share related concepts. In literal numeric perfection the voice is a
ladder of ascent unto the LORD! God did not “think” the world into existence He used
His voice when He said, “let there be.” The spiritual realm used faith to produce our
physical reality. Some will probably ask how can you speak things into existence!
There was a new scientific discovery in recent years, which rather shook up the scientific
world. They had been aware of the circular nature of planets, stars and galaxies on the
macro scale as well as the circular nature of protons neutrons and electrons in the
microenvironment. This circle in a circle or wheel within a wheel motif was replete in the
cyclical atoms and planetary movement A . On the other hand there was a “spiral
like” or galaxy structure in p the universe! The Christian world was not surprised by
either of these structures for scripture has revealed that, “The angel of the LORD
encampeth round about them that fear him” (Ps 34:7); the scriptures teach that God, “It is
he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers;
that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in”
(Isa 40:22). The scriptures agree with the circular & spiral concepts of creation.
However, theoretical physicists discovered in the last few decades something outside of
this circular structure! They found a subatomic particle, meaning something smaller than
the atom A ! This newly discovered particle called a neutrino acted more like a wave
- and not like the cyclical or spiral structures elsewhere observed! These neutrino’s
are so small that they actually pass through atoms in a wave pattern and they are so small
that they do not disturb
the atom! These neutrinos actually look like physical sound waves. When
 you get two
instruments that are in tune with each other like two guitars; if you pluck the
string on
one guitar the
corresponding string of the other guitar will begin to resonate or produce the
same
audible sound which came
from the first instrument! This takes place just because the
waves - are syntonic, which means that they
are in tune with each other!
Sound waves look like what we have observed in the neutrino.Â
In the same fashion as syntonic guitars, when two humans speak in agreement
with one another they are creating a gloriously tuned atmosphere, “Can two walk together,
except they be agreed?” (Amos 3:3). There is an actual power generated in the agreement
between believers, “if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall
ask, it shall be done ” (Matt 18:19). Any agreement between believers with what God has
already spoken through His word is impossible to stop ! Just like the angelic realm, we are
actually, Glory Producers ! We need to “forsake not the assembling of ourselves
together!” When we create the proper glory, God will manifest Himself in the midst, “For
where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them ”
(Matt 18:20). Even when we speak of God, He manifests Himself, “Then they that feared
the LORD spake often one to another : and the LORD hearkened , and heard it , and a
book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that
thought upon his name” (Mal 3:16). We read in that same passage that these people
actually became God’s choicest jewels! The Psalmist teaches us, “I will bless the LORD at
all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth . . . O magnify (make larger than
other things) the LORD with me , and let us exalt his name together (notice the
togetherness or agreement) ” (Ps 34:1&3). When we meet we can actually experience
God’s spiritual Glory into our midst! When create that spiritual realm, we are become
more and more acquainted with the spiritual world.
Now imagine Moses who had observed God’s awesome power throughout his own life!
He saw that God performed special works just in his own life:
• Supernaturally preserved when he was a baby;
• Moses was preserved by Pharaoh’s daughter who had the desire for a baby;
• God guided the ark basked of Moses to Pharaoh’s daughter;
• Moses’ own mother breast fed him as an infant;
• Moses felt a calling to free his people and was cast into the wilderness for 40 years;
• Through God, Moses split the ocean and led the people through on dry ground.
Moses personally witnessed all of these wonderful miraculous effects in his own life. At
this point Moses was so close to God that he just wanted to see the Glory of God! So
Moses asked, “And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory . And he said, I will make
all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee;
and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew
mercy. And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.
And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: And
it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock,
and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: And I will take away mine hand, and
thou shalt see my back (hinder) parts : but my face shall not be seen” (Ex 33:18-23). Now
get this very interesting point about the word (hinder) it simply means “history” or what
went before! We read the word “achowr” (aw-khore'); meaning “the hinder part,” hence
the adverb “behind!” We read in the psalms, “Who among you will give ear to this? who
will hearken and hear for the time to come (achowr) ” (Isa 42:23). The meaning of this
verse is clearer when read from the Living Bible, “Won't even one of you apply these
lessons from the past and see the ruin that awaits you up ahead?” TLB.
We discover that God showed Moses his “hinder parts” or more clearly the past history;
also, as we have seen, Moses saw heavenly things as he beheld God’s Glory! We learn
that Moses saw history when he saw God’s Glory! This includes things that were placed in
the tabernacle like the Menorah and the Ark of the Covenant! Who knows what was on top
of the Ark of the Covenant? Please describe what it looks like to others.
The Glory of God dwelt between the cheribum, “when Moses was gone into the tabernacle
of the congregation to speak with him, then he heard the voice of one speaking unto him
from off the mercy seat that was upon the ark of testimony, from between the two
cherubims : and he spake unto him!” (Num 7:89). Moses had earlier been trained on how
to fashion that glorious
place, “And thou shalt make two cherubims
of gold, of beaten work
shalt thou make them, in the two ends
of the mercy seat” (Ex 25:18).
We (the Church of the Living God) are
a living organism! We are the human
Glory Producers! It may be that the
neutrinos, which particle physicists
have discovered, are the actual words
of God are still resonating throughout
the universe. Hebrews teaches us that
this indeed may be the case, “Who
(Christ) being the brightness of his
glory, and the express image of his
person, and upholding all things by the word of his power ” (Heb 1:3); Jesus upholds
things through his WORD! The book of Colossians teaches this concept more clearly,
“And he is
before all things, and by him all things consist” (
things together! It is like cement! The words of agreement that we humans speak are very
strong in power; they are like cement! Our words of agreement hold things together!
On the other hand, disagreement, disharmony, disfunction is very destructive! That is
exactly what happened to satan! His chief goal is to get us together (Face to face – get the
picture?) so that we start speaking words of disharmony! He knows how powerful those
words are to create destruction! Division and disagreement create anti–Glory! Any time
that this negative form of communication shows up, the devil, who wants to be like God,
steps into the middle and speaks a word of destruction! Do you see what satan is up to?
Do what ever is needed, that you remain in unity with your brother!
We need to live above offense! Then whenever any of us have a problem, all we need to
do is put the problem between the crossfire!
Ezekiel saw angels they were the wheels within the wheel! When we become acquainted
with that spiritual world we begin to experience the spiritual realm! Once we are in that
realm where angels and heavenly beings exist, we begin to lose interest in the physical
realm! Soon thereafter, people begin to tell us that we are crazy! However, in reality, only
fools stay in the mundane ( “mundo” of the earth ).
Have you experienced things in that other world? Ask Jonathan Edwards if he has! His
powers are scriptural, “And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out
of my Spirit upon all flesh” (Acts 2:17). God gives the gifts, “every good gift and every
perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights.” However, God
does not ever take the gifts back, “For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance”
(Rom 11:29). Those that use God’s gifts to glorify the demonic realm have learned to
communicate with a network of demons operating in the fallen spiritual world! You don’t
need to fear them because greater is he that is in you!
The world around us loves that spiritual world but only when it involves the demonic
realm! On the other hand, when we (Christians) get into to the heavenly realm, they make
fun of us! Fortunetellers and Tarot card readers experience that other realm yet no one
makes fun of them! Witches and Warlocks talk to demons all of the time! You’d better get
prepared for it, that other spiritual realm does exist! We have chosen to live and operate
within the realm of the Holy Spirit!
When we come into that heavenly realm we must be careful concerning how we enter into
that place! Let’s notice what we learn from Ruth, “Wash thyself therefore, and anoint thee,
and put thy raiment upon thee, and get thee down to the floor” (Ruth 3:3). (1) We must
wash ourselves in the blood of the lamb; (2) next we must put on our raiment (spiritual
armour); finally, (3) we must get down on our faces! We are protected when we are low!
At this point we are in the spiritual realm!
Christ (the Anointed and his anointing) made it possible for (Christ) ians to experience
spiritual success! We get the anointing from Jesus Christ (the anointed one) ! Through
worship, spiritual realities become manifest! When we accomplish this form of worship,
the yoke is broken off of us, “And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be
taken away from off thy shoulder, and his (satan’s) yoke from off thy neck , and the yoke
shall be destroyed because of the anointing ” (Isa 10:27). Everything that held us in the
past can remain there on the floor, if we will but leave it there! The Holy Oil (anointing) of
God solves everyting! Let’s notice a story about God’s Holy Oil, “Now there cried a
certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my
husband is dead (He may well have been killed by Jezebel) ; and thou knowest that thy
servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be
bondmen. And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the
house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil .
Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels;
borrow not a few. And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon
thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full.
So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the
vessels to her; and she poured out. And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that
she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel
more. And the oil stayed” (2 Kings 4:1-6). Everything is solved through the anointing!
Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty!
Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty;
Early in the morning our song shall rise to thee;
Holy, Holy, Holy! Merciful and Mighty!
God in three persons; blessed Trinity!
Holy, Holy, Holy! All the saints adore Thee;
Casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea;
Cherubim and seraphim falling down before Thee,
Who wert and art and; evermore shall be.
Holy, Holy, Holy! Though the darkness hide thee;
Though the eye of sinful man Thy Glory may not see;
Only thou art holy; there is none beside thee!
Perfect in power; in love, and purity.
Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty;
All thy works shall praise Thy name, in earth and sky and sea;
Holy, Holy, Holy! Merciful and Mighty!
